SEO Meta Tags - title, description

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. Simply put, it refers to techniques aimed at improving the visibility of a website on search engines.

In SEO practices, title and description tags are especially important as they define the title and description of the webpage that will be displayed in search results.

1. title Tag

The title tag defines the title of the web page. This title appears in the tab of the web browser and is also used as the title in search engine results.

For example, when you search for "CodeFriends" on a search engine, you might see the title "CodeFriends | The Easiest Platform for Learning Software Development" in the results. This is the content of the title tag for CodeFriends.

Example:

2. description Meta Tag

The description meta tag provides a brief description of the web page.

The description appears as a short snippet below the page title in search results, so it should be crafted carefully.
